Throwback - Into The Blue

 Hey everyone!  Throwback to one of my first real watercolor paintings! This is about 6 years old.  I was surprised back then by how easy it was to add color to things, I had always been intimidated by bad experiences with cheap markers etc. before then I mostly sketched in pencil or colored digitally (I didn't mind painting digitally because I didn't have to lose the integrity of the initial drawing.)  
It's funny, now, because I highly prefer painting to drawing these days, and I don't have nearly the attachment to my sketches that I once did. So funny how we grow.
